Springing Forward an evening of early modern dance from the repertory of Isadora Duncan

 

This program of spring dances includes dances from the revolutionary “mother” of modern dance, Isadora Duncan. Leading Duncan dancers who have studied and performed the work internationally will show repertory that has been handed down from generation to generation as well as pieces recreated through archival research. Experience the beauty and legacy of early modern dance right here with the Putnam County Dance Project.

Cross pollination workshop and performance event

May 14th and 15th, 2022

Our Multi-media Cross Pollination event was held on May 14-15th, 2022 at Arts on the Lake in Kent, NY.  Thanks to Carol Prud’homme Davis whose energetic artwork is shown to the right, Maia Claire Garrison for her engaging movement and playful vocal work and Michael D'Agostino for his improvisation of drumming rhythms and luscious piano playing.
