Putnam County Dance Project was created in 2015 after dancers Marie Carstens and Erin Jennings joined forces after leaving NYC for the beauty of the Hudson Valley. Having both danced professionally in NYC and beyond, they co-created PCDP to bring quality dance performance and events to Putnam county and surrounding communities. They received grants through the sponsorship of Town of Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition and the Putnam Arts Council*.  PCDP has created dance events, workshops, and performances, including Global Water Dances 2019, at outdoor venues such as the lawn of Arts on the Lake in Kent and Garrison’s Landing with Philipstown Depot Theatre.  Indoor performances and workshops occurred at Studio Around the Corner in Brewster and Dancing Dialogue in Cold Spring.  They look forward to continuing with many more events.
